Elias and Elena both got to go bowling on Saturday at a birthday party for one of Elias' new friends. They both loved bowling! After his first turn, Elias cried because he only got 8 pins down (and not all 10). I thought it was going to be a long game for our little perfectionist. Thankfully, he is also our little intellectual, so he loved seeing the numbers add up after each turn. So, when he got to figure out that 8+6=14 at his next turn, that was enough of a distraction to appreciate the 6 pins down and not worry about the 4 that were left. Afterall, how boring would it have been to just add 10+10+10+10...
