HOME!

We're home!!! It's midnight, so I really must not go into details- I really should just go to bed. But my little mind and then my feet keep taking me to Elena's door. Is she doing ok in there? Is she breathing? Are her lips turning blue? What is her respiratory rate? Is she retracting? I sure do wish I had an "OFF" switch to my brain! Actually, it has probably already switched itself off several days ago, and that is part of the problem!
We see her regular doctor in the morning, so it will be good for him to have a listen. I did a pulmacort (asthma treatment) in the nebulizer a couple of hours ago and there was a lot of wheezing. But she didn't seem to be in any distress. Actually, she seemed very happy to be in her own room, in her own bed, surrounded by her beloved birds.
So now I am going to go check on her (just one more time!!!) and go to bed myself. Aaaaah, what it will feel like to sleep in a REAL mattress with REAL sheets and an electric blanket!!! Heaven!!!

Praise the Lord (PTL) to the Jordan family. Glad you are all home, it feels like we are always trying to find the "off" switch in our lives. Glad you are back! =)

I am sure you can't wait to settle back down to "normal" life - but it was so wonderful to walk into rehearsal tonight and see Adaryll. We miss you all so much!! Thanks for sharing him. :)

PS - Hallelujah that your precious one is home!!! What joy!
