Allright, people! Here we go with round two of our newest game. I LOVED all the responses last week, so keep up the good work!
As a reminder, here is how to play: I will post a word. You will post a comment telling your thoughts and feelings about my word. Feel free to give a definition and use the word in a sentence. Also, you can comment about what other people have said, so check back and see what people thought of your comment.
This week's word is................................
jiffy.

I like this game.
When I was in high school, our youth group did a video scavenger hunt. One of the things we had to do was go to Jiffy Lube and ask three questions:
1. How long is a jiffy?
2. Do you like Jif peanut butter?
3. Have you ever had a dog named Jiffy?
(I can't say that I remember any of the answers...)
Random? Definitely. Fun? You bet!
I'll be there in a jiffy. (If I said that now, my kids would laugh hysterically, ahh the good ol' days.)
Where is Jiffy Lube?
I like jif peanut butter the best.
Jiffy corn muffins rule.
Jiffy muffins... the only way to make cornbread... BUT you HAVE to add a can of cream corn to the mix before cooking... YUMMO!! Making some tonight with chicken and dumplins!!!
i immediately thought POP as well.
dave brought some for me when we went camping the other weekend and i tried to pop it over the fire but failed miserably. there was some popping and i ended up with a hot hand and burnt popcorn...which i ate. =)
Be back in a ....?
I didn't get the pop reference, maybe I'm a bit too young for Jiffy Pop, that must've been the popcorn with the handy handles, have vague recollections of parents making it..
Love their muffin and cornbread mix, cheap, yet yummy, and what about that peanut butter?
I immediately thought "POP" as well. I also must say that the only cornbread I fix is Jiffy mix!!
Jiffy-dee-doo-dah;
Jiffy-dee-day!
Of course there is a song from AJ. You are too funny. I can actually hear your voice in my head singing it as well.
"jiffy-dee-doo-dah"?? are you serious?
Lissie, you heard me! :-)
Stephanie, your question #1 is a good one. Reminds me of the question: "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?"
Remember the answer, anyone? There IS only one answer (according to the owl).
3
413 licks
Lissie WINS! What do I win, you ask? Dinner at the Jordan house Wednesday night! oh, we were already doing that huh... Maybe you will get a special drink or something. Or a tootsie pop. Whose center you must reach within 3 licks...
